Evaluation of a novel functional orthotics device for managing proximal humerus fractures

This study aims to evaluate the efficiency of an orthotic device in treating proximal humerus fractures. The following research methods were used Orthosis user group compare non-orthotic terms PHFs management. Physical function daily activities and recovery assessed using DASH, SPADI, SST, Muscular Strength, CONSTANT scores, radiological assessment, as well questionnaire AND mathematically (statistical data processing). Based on normality results clinical outcomes, a statistically significant difference between two groups was illustrate, orthosis indicating minimum level inability, pain severity lack functional skills execute specific activities, had higher shoulder activity muscle strength recovered normal level, more effective preserving promoting arm function, allowing for better mobility. Bone union that allowed fracture heal while providing sufficient support stability. Furthermore, satisfaction survey found patients fell protected comfortable with new orthosis.
